Our Mission
The Haiti Business Accelerator is dedicated to fostering economic growth in Haiti by connecting small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Haiti the available resources, mentorship, and capital they need to scale up and sustain their businesses. We aim to close the gap between Haitian founders and the providers of these resource, which have historically been available yet inaccessible. The HBA serves both Haitians in Haiti and in the diaspora. You can learn more about the HBA here.

STRATA
STRATA is a digital platform for tracking, preparing and connecting SMEs with resource providers, including regional and global trade partners, buyers, financial institutions and other business enterprises. More generally, the platform is the central component of a program to convert Haitian SMEs into verified, export-ready, financially-auditable and logistics-capable organizations ready to do business on the international stage. STRATA is organized into 3 pillars that maintain
a registry of Haitian SMEs (Pillar 1)
a registry of resource providers (Pillar 2)
an AI-assisted means of matching SMEs to providers (Pillar 3)
STRATA was launched in October of 2026 with an active list of current SMEs and providers already associated with the HBA. New SMEs and providers may submit an application to the registry. Upon review, and approval, HBA will add the registrant to the STRATA database.
The registry of Haitian SMEs are certified through the HBS Foundry Roadmap. These entrepreneurs are prepared to take advantage of resources and opportunities in the providers registry.
The registry of resources is a repository of grants, venture funding, contract opportunities, and other resources available to registered Haitian SMEs positioned to pursue them.
